Dumbo: Art Under the Bridge

This piece, which is a study of a silicone weave suspended inside a white urethane, was on display during the festival. I installed it, and didn't come back for it until the festival was over. Free drinks, free ice-cream and art... can't fuck with that!

The Circular Exhibition - Hun Gallery (nyc) & Gallery Ho (Seoul)

This show was an opportunity for my work to travel to distant lands. It was held in NYC from the 22nd of August until the 5th of September. After that, the exhibit travels to Seoul, Korea. The "Spiny Node" will be shown at the Gallery Ho (haha) there.

PHONEMATION - June 2008

This collaboration was tough. I had never worked with language/word based themes, but this concept was fun. We wrapped up the cube in Astor Place (Tony Rosenthal's "Alamo") with a 100ft long strand of spandex; with the words transfered on. We were there all day... passer-by's helped us stretch it and the cops didn't fuck with us. It was a fun day. I also got the chance to produce the piece below, which I cast out of colored polyurethane rubber. People enjoyed the show, which was held in the Uruguayan Consulate's gallery room. It was a collaboration with Martin Silva (Uruguay) and Laura Ayam (Argentina).

GIFTS OF THE MAGI - 2006

These two pieces were up on the Brooklyn Arts Gym gallery, in a show curated by John Holtz. They are early studies of my work with rubber fabric.
